Dealer Frequently Asked Questions
How are windows shipped?
Minnkota Windows strives to deliver our products on our own trucks as often as possible. Occasionally, production volume or planned shipping routes may result in deliveries coming via common carrier or other means, but we will attempt to deliver on our own trucks whenever possible.
How do Minnkota Windows compare to other vinyl windows in the industry?
Minnkota Windows utilize the Rehau uPVC vinyl profile for sash and frame. The Rehau profile generally has more chambers with thicker walls for strength and durability. The Rehau profile is widely considered to be a higher quality product and is warranted as long as the original purchaser owns the home.
Cardinal Industries insulated glass (IG) units have the lowest seal failure rate in the industry. Test data reports seal failure rates of less than 0.2%/1000 which means seal failures in our products are an extremely rare occurrance.
If I order today, when will I receive my shipment?
Minnkota Windows adheres to a three week lead time on standard products. Based on existing shipping zones, windows ordered by 10:00 a.m. CT will most often ship in three weeks. Coated products, radius/geometric shapes and Euro Series products require additional time to fabricate. Units with blinds between the glass (BBG) ship in about six weeks. To find current lead times, call our office and speak with one of our associates.
Do you have software so I can quote my customers from my computer?
Yes, our eNVision software can be loaded on your system as long as there's an internet connection. You'll be able to quote window projects for your customers remotely on a laptop or at your place of business.
Do you provide samples and literature?
Yes. We have several window types that can be used as "salesperson samples" in 20x30 sizes. We also have rolling displays for showroom settings and can customize display units to fit any need. All accessories and various literature pieces are available to you as well.
